On Sunday 6th August, Director Ross Smith took part in the London Triathlon.
Ross completed the Olympic distance with 1500m swim, 40km cycle and 10km run all in a very respectable 2 hours 56 minutes.
This incredible achievement is all the more impressive as it follows a long 5 year recovery from a severe football injury, which left Ross needing physiotherapy and multiple surgeries. Fundraising for Diabetes UK, Ross had an initial target of £1,500 and has surpassed that by over 70% with the current figure sitting at £2,675.
Diabetes UK is a charity extremely important to Ross and his family and they do incredible work helping to eliminate the negative impact of diabetes, while supporting the 5.5million people in the UK living with the disease.
