- Walthamstow Wetlands - 25 minute walk - This 211-hectare site is the largest urban wetland reserve in Europe. It’s home to a variety of birdlife, including rare wildfowl, peregrine falcons, and several species of bats and amphibians. There is a visitor centre and café inside the Victorian Engine House perfect for a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
