Natalie Taylor - RICS accredited Project Manager

As part of our drive to get more #womeninconstruction, our very own Natalie Taylor has recently taken part in a RICS accredited Construction Project Management course.

“My entry into the construction industry is not as traditional as some of my colleagues. I have always been interested in the property industry having worked as a Property Manager in the past and in a more female dominated role as a PA to the director of a small house builder.

As part of my role, I found myself in various meetings struggling to keep up with the conversation with items I didn’t fully understand. In an attempt to further my knowledge, the senior management team and I discussed taking part in a RICS accredited course to improve my insight into the construction process and more technical aspects of the build.

As part of the six-month course, I found myself becoming more and more engaged by the course syllabus, leaving me excited and eager to put my learnt knowledge into practice.

I am lucky enough to work for such a supporting company who were willing to assist me by funding the course.

I am proud that I am one of a growing number of women in the industry and would recommend to anyone, male or female, that the construction sector is a modern and welcoming place to work and somewhere to make a career.”
