We were appointed by Triathlon Homes to sell this iconic development, famously known for accommodating the Olympic athletes during the London 2012 Olympics. Our main objective was to sell and let the 704 intermediate market units which we did whilst exceeding our targets and meeting all timescales set by the client.
East Village is an excellent model of the superlative service SiteSales have to offer. The development represented a huge undertaking and unique challenge: to provide low-cost home ownership to a wide spectrum of applicants, against very rigid affordability criteria and a niche product.
From the first launch in June 2013 through to the end, we succeeded in keeping the levels of interest in the scheme high, with over 200 applicants registering every week to rent or buy. Though very challenging, this scheme was a fantastic opportunity for SiteSales to establish a reputation for being able to sell extremely large developments with a dynamic mix of tenures and very restrictive Section 106 guidelines. All 704 units were disposed of within 17 months.
